Breitling was one of many brands in the race to develop the first automatic chronograph movement. In 1965, the brand teamed up with B?ren, Dubois-Depraz and Heuer to form The Chronomatic/Project 99 Consortium, which released its caliber 11 to the world in 1969. When the Chronomatic was released by Willy Breitling, it was the world’s first two-pusher chronograph wristwatch. This chronograph in particular stands out with the crown on the opposite side of the case.
