The company RGM, named after its founder and chief watchmaker Roland G. Murphy, was launched in the early 1990s with the release of the 101 Chronograph. Murphy’s designs are influenced by historical makers such as Breguet, and over the years has produced watches in series and commission pieces. The 102-JC is one of two case designs with a jump hour complication. The 102-J was released with a rectangular case. The present 102-JC stands out with the cushion case. The ?C? stands for cushion for the case shape, and the ?J? is for jumping hour.
