    Description

?The first of the collectionby Gerald Genta?

Inspired and named after the eight stars adorned on the case back. The Constellation is Omega?s flagship Chronometer grade watch since 1952. The eight stars represent two chronometer records and six first-place awards that Omega earned between 1933 and 1952. The two chronometer records were groundbreaking in 1933 as Omega set the world?s records for precision.

First generation Constellations feature a ?Pie Pan? dial. This dial resembles the shape of an upturned pie pan with 12 facets. The example here has a starburst silvered dial that catches the light beautifully and gold ?Dauphine? hands. The dial is signed with an Omega sign and signature, along with ?Automatic Chronometer Officially Certified? and ?Constellation? with a gold star.

*The pie-pan dial can also be seen on fellow competitors.
