    De Grisogono is a Swiss luxury jeweler that was founded in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1993 by Lebanese-Italian black diamond specialist Fawaz Gruosi. The Italian name Grisogono is derived from the Latin Chrysogonus which comes from the Greek Chrysogonos ???s?-?????, meaning “begotten of gold.” In 2022, it was bought by the Damac Group of Dubai. In 2000, Fawaz Gruosi presented his first watch collection called Instrumento N?Uno at the World Watch and Jewellery Fair in Basel. He is the first to use ?Galuchat? on watch straps and the first to present a blackened steel movement. That same year, he launched a new jewelry collection featuring milky white diamonds dubbed ?Icy Diamonds.?
