This Air Force 1 ‘Carnival’ was released in 2003 in recognition of the 39th Annual Notting Hill Carnival in London. The name and vibrant colors are also a nod to Brazil’s famous yearly Carnival. Originally released in 1982, the Air Force 1 is named after the presidential aircraft. Designed by Bruce Kilgore, it was the first basketball shoe to feature revolutionary air pocket technology.
