This Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro Doernbecher was created in 2011 by Isaiah Scott of the OHSU Doernbecher Children?s Hospital. This sneaker, like all Doernbecher releases, features a multitude of symbols and designs chosen by a select patient of the OHSU Doernbecher Children?s Hospital.
The Superman-themed design consists of a black nubuck upper, with bright green and blue accents on the midsole, branding and eyestay. Additionally, the tongue features the Superman ?S? logo and a silhouette of Isaiah?s face is accented on the heel. The Air Jordan 4 (IV) is one of the most popular models in the Air Jordan lineage. First debuted at the 1989 NBA All-Star Game, and designed by Nike legend Tinker Hatfield, it was the first global release for the Jordan Brand.
