As a retro of the original Air Jordan 5 Fire Red colorway from 1990, this pair features many similarities to the first rendition but with a few notable differences.
Staying true to the namesake, this pair is built with a primarily white upper, red and black midsoles, and a red and translucent outsole, the main components of the pair are identical to the 1990 version which became so famous. Differing from the OG pair is the black tongue, which was famously 3M in prior renditions, a black upper lace lock, as well as the addition of the 23 on the lateral heels. These midsoles also replace the original color choice, featuring black where the red outsole is, and red at the black Jordan 5 shark-tooth design. Finally, the heel displays a Jordan Jumpman instead of the Nike Air which is embroidered on the 1990 original Jordan 5.
