This pair is part of the 11th Doernbecher Freestyle Collection, a series that features designs by patients of Doernbecher Children?s Hospital. This pair was designed by Caden Lambert, who was diagnosed with Guillain-Barr? syndrome, a life-threatening autoimmune disease. The vibrant sneaker features a Hyper Blue speckled upper with accents of orange, black and yellow. The pair highlights Caden?s personal details throughout like his basketball jersey #14 on the custom glow-in-the-dark upper and his brothers’ names Blake and Ryland on the footstraps. A boombox is stamped on the inside of one of the tongues to share his love of music while the other bears the name of his brother Ryland who battled childhood cancer. The Doernbecher Freestyle Collection reflects the strength and inspiration of the six young patient-designers.
