Nike collaborated with the infamous Japanese luxury fashion brand, Sacai, to create a hybrid of the Nike LDV and Waffle Racer. The shoe debuted during the Sacai Fall/Winter 2019 runway show in Paris and stays true to the brands vision of creating unique and timeless fashion. The Sacai x LD Waffle ‘Summit White’ features wolf grey and white leather accents, double stacked Nike Swooshes, tongues, overlays and laces. The mid panel and toe are constructed of a breathable ‘Summit White’ mesh, while an extended white outsole sits between a grey heel cup and black outsole. To complete the look, a double stacked Nike x Sacai logo is printed on the heel tab. This shoe was released in September 2019.
