Virgil Abloh?s 2017 project, ?The Ten? was the late designer?s take on 10 iconic Nike sneakers, which without a doubt changed the sneaker and streetwear landscape in monumental ways. The project reconstructed classic Nike silhouettes, and divided the updated designs into the themes of ?Ghosting? and ?Revealing.? This sample of the Off-White x Nike Zoom Fly White was a part of the ?Ghosting? series.
The upper is composed of a translucent Flyknit material with an inner cage lining. White tonal-stitched Swoosh branding and a mid-panel with a signature orange tab add contrast to the look. As with many pairs in the series, Abloh takes the Nike tongue from the tag and places it to the side. The pair also features the iconic Off-White lettering, spelling ?FOAM? across the midsole. The sneakers also come with the famous red Off-White zip tie.
