Founded in 1894 by German-born watchmaker Dietrich Gr?n, Gruen watches are powered by Swiss movements and assembled and adjusted in the U.S. with American-made cases. Gruen saw much success among collectors for their high-quality watches. Unfortunately in 1958, Gruen ceased production and nearly all information concerning serial numbers, watch types, etc. were destroyed or lost. This model features a simplistic design with a silver dial and oversized hour markers for legibility at a glance.
