Richard Mille faced the challenge of maintaining the strength and unique character of his models while expanding his design options. The RM016 was a game-changer in 2007 as Richard Mille ventured into two uncharted territories. Firstly, the rectangular shape of the watch was a departure from the brand’s signature tonneau-shaped cases. Secondly, the ultra-thin movement marked the founding pillars of a more sophisticated and refined aesthetic, which can be seen in current references such as the RM067-01 and RM067-02. Available in excellent condition, the watch not only has a great wrist presence, it also established the foundation for further avant-garde case designs in Richard Mille.
