Founded in 1882 in Switzerland, Zodiac originally focused on producing pocket watches. In an effort to capitalize on scuba diving, a growing sport in the 1920s and ’30s, Zodiac introduced alongside the Blancpain FiftyFathoms, the Seawolf. The Seawolf is among one of the first commercially made scuba dive watches as we know them today, with rotating bezel and more water depth rating than the fifty fathoms.
