In 1973, Guy Ellia apprenticed as a diamantaire in Antwerp, meeting the famous diamond cutter Gabriel Tolkowsky. In 1994, he bought a small company, allowing him to open a shop in the diamond quarter of Paris on the Rue de La Fayette. With his rich diamond-cutting experience, he began a new line of business with his first jewelry design order from La Place Vend?me. In 1999, Guy Ellia established his own brand name in the world of high jewelry and watch design, gaining notice in Eurasian countries by 2003 and crossing the Atlantic in 2007.
